Guwahati –Shillong-Mawlynnong –Dawki-Cherrapunjee-Nameri - Dirang-Tawang–Bomdila-Kaziranga- Guwahati

Day 01: Guwahati - Shillong (95 Kms, 3 hrs drive)

Upon arrival at the Guwahati airport, you will meet Our Holy Tree Travel representative who is waiting (with Placard where mention your name) to give a warm welcome and drive to Shillong.

On the way to the hotel, you can enjoy the surroundings and watch the lively movement of people in the Northeast.

En route visit Barapani (Umiam Lake)

Shillong is the capital city and the gateway of Meghalaya- one of the smallest cities of India. Shillong is full of natural beauty along with caves, beautiful landscapes, the tallest waterfalls, and amazing people and their culture. Its atmosphere is very similar toEuropean settlers of Scotland that’s why its called "Scotland of the East.

Arrive in Shillongand check-in at the hotel, rest of the day free for leisure/overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Shillong / Mawlynnong / Dawki / Shillong

Early Morning breakfast at hotel & enjoy a whole day excursion tour to Mawlynnong, Dawki.

Mawlynnong Village has acquired the title of being the cleanest village in Asia that located 90 km. from Shillong. Mawlynnong is a picturesque village that offers many phenomenal sights such as the living root bridge and the strange natural extent of a boulder balancing on another rock. The charming and greenly small village is well known for its cleanliness and it seems that it’s the home of nature mother.

Later visit Dawki: Dawki is one of the most amazing and exciting tourist destinations of Northeast of India that lies 2 Kms from Bangladesh. Dawki is a small village and its prime attraction is the Umngot River that indicated the natural separation between the Khasi and the Jaintia Hills. The Umngot riveris the place for a boat race that happens in March-April.

Later return to Shillong.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Shillong / Cherrapunjee / Shillong (56 Kms, 1 ½ hrs drive one way)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy an excursion trip to Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee is one of the most-visited destinations in the entire Northeast that is situatedon the Shillong Plateau about 55 km southwest of Shillong. Its offers Seven Sisters Falls, having one of the world's highest average annual precipitation levels, about 450 inches,Cherrapujee is also the second most Wettest place in the world.

Upon arrival visit Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai Cave, Wei Sawdong Falls, Thangkharang Park, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sister Falls), Dainthlen waterfall etc.

Later return to Shillong, rest of the free to explore the local market for shopping. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Shillong – Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel enjoy full days sightseeing of in Shillong including visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Wards Lake, Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hyderi Park, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christian, Shillong Golf Course etc.

Rest of the day free for leisure, overnight at hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Shillong - Nameri National Park (285 km/7 hrs by road)

After an early breakfast at the hotel drive toNameri National Park.

Nameri national park is very well known for its elephants, tigers, leopards, wild pigs, sambars, gaurs etc. Another important thing we must say is that it is a heavenly destination for birds lovers.

Upon arrival, check-in at Eco Camp. The rest of the time relax in the land of nature mother. Overnight at Eco Camp.

Day 06: Nameri - Dirang (145 km/ 7 hrs by road )

Early morning proceeds for the nature walk and the bird watching trip into the dense jungle of Nameri National Park with the forest guards.

Later back to camp and breakfast. After that, drive to Dirang.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and take some rest. Later afternoon visit: Dirang Dzong, Thupsung Dhargye

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Dirang - Tawang (140 Kms, 6 hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Sangti Valley and after that drive to Tawang. Reroute visit Sella Pass and Jaswant Garh War Memorial .

Later drive to Tawang Tawang is one of the finest hill stations in the Indian northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. It’s an excellent combination of natural beauty and spirituality. Tawang is home to the biggest Buddhist monasteries such as the 400-year-old monastery another side you will get spectacular scenic beauty that attracted lots of tourists from all over the world.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Tawang – Full day sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel proceed to explore Tawang including visiting: Tawang Monastery (Vihar), Tawang War Memorial, Gyangong Ani Gompa, The Craft Center, Urqelling Monastery and The Giant Buddha Statue

Also visit Bum La Pass& Sangestser Lake (OPTIONAL: Rs. 5500 Per Vehicle / Foreign Nationals are not allowed)

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Tawang - Bomdila (180 Kms/ 7 hrs by road)

After early morning breakfast at the hotel, drive to Bomdila then en-route stop at the Nuranang falls. Upon arrival in Bomdila, check-in at the hotel.

Later Visit Bomdila Monastery which is a very sacred place for Buddhists. This monastery has built under the instructions of the Dalai Lama- the spiritual leader of Tibet.

Later, you can visit the craft centre, where, you will experience the nice wooden carpets of colourful designs.

Bomdila,where you can enjoy Bird's eye view of Kangto and Gorichen peaks. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Bomdila - Kaziranga National Park (265 Kms, 7 hrs drive)

After early morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Kaziranga National Park.

Kaziranga National Park is one of the most magnificent and visited tourist destinations, rewarded as a world heritage site. Kaziranga National Park is home to the Great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, rugged reeds, tall elephant grass, marshes & shallow pools etc.

On the way visit Nag Mandir and Bhalukpong, Tipi Orchid Sanctuary and Research Center.

Upon arrival in Kaziranga, check-in at the Jungle Resort. Overnight at the resort.

Day 11: Kaziranga National Park – Safaris

Early morning enjoys the elephant safari in the famous central (Kohora) range of Kaziranga. Later back to the hotel for breakfast.

Later afternoon visit the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park and enjoy more than 190 several species of Orchids and the various traditional dance forms and songs along with endemic foods

Late afternoon experience the exclusive Jeep safari in the western (Bagori) range of Kaziranga. Overnight at the resort.

Day 12: Kaziranga National Park - Guwahati (215 Kms/5 hrs by road )

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Guwahati and take some rest.

Later visit Kamakhya Temple – one of the most prominent Sakti pith for Hindus.

Evening, enjoy the sunset cruise in the Brahmaputra river( if time permits). (Optional: Rs. 400 Per Person) Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Guwahati Departure

Early morning visit Umananda Temple and Navagraha Temple and back to hotel and breakfast at the hotel.
